Hmm...for awesomeness and sales I think I got something interesting. I mean Rauwshan's lineup could be interesting, but only 12 people would buy it. And since this supposed to be a flagship JLA type title...let's get dangerous...

Captain America - Obviously...Bucky that is
Thor - somewhat obvious but with JMS gone he's pretty much up for grabs
Silver Surfer - Screw Skaar, the man's a bonafide legend and needs to be in a god damn book on a more regular basis.
Deadpool - Somehow put him on retainer (because he's a merc durrrr >_>), he sells huge, and could create an interesting dynamic if written well. Plus all he really wants is to belong...right?
Song Bird - obligatory female character that could use a push to the big time probably the best "character" from Ellis' Thunderbolts run outside of Osborn. Plus Marvel's female characters suck outside a few and 97.43119239% of them are X-Men anyways.
War Machine - obligatory black guy, but all things considered Tony Stark isn't exactly available and you need the heavy weapons dude.

And the 7th and most important member of this epic team?

Spider-Ham - seriously...it'd seem ridiculous but be awesome especially if it was teased as Spider-Man the whole time in promotional whatnots. And if that doesn't work I guess I could throw in Wolverine like every other team book seems to do...meh.

This book probably wouldn't sell as well as I made you think it would based on the intro, but screw it I'd read at least the first arc to see where the wackyness goes. Then again I could WRITE it and make everyone love me even more :D.

I too am not a huge Avengers fan, but you got to have at least one lady in your roster. But my list is as follows:

Captain America
Hawkeye
She-Hulk
Iron Man
Black Widow
Immortal Iron Fist
Ghost Rider

Now I know this is probably getting some strange looks, but I tried to be tactical about this line. Which you may tell from some of my picks and I also tried not to include any X-Men, simply because I feel that they have their own teams to worry about. That and for the most part they seem like there own universe.

As for the lack of Thor.... JMS portrayed Thor in such an interesting way that I don't really see him on the team. Though he would definitely replace Ghost Rider on my list at some point.
