Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Since the destruction of the Hellmouth, the Slayers--newly legion--have gotten organized and are kicking some serious undead butt. But not everything's fun and firearms, as an old enemy reappears and Dawn experiences some serious growing pains. Buffy creator Joss Whedon brings Buffy back to Dark Horse in this direct follow-up to season seven of the smash-hit TV series.

They do as many things good as they do bad. Without the effect's budget looming overhead, the stories and action can get really interesting, but they're spinning their wheels with Buffy herself. She's no longer an interesting character, even though they try to spice her up (but why make her a one-shot lesbian?). Not bad, but they better get to something interesting soon.
